Viagra is used to treat and improve the erectile dysfunction (or impotence) in men. It relaxes the muscles and increases the blood flow in specific areas of the body. Viagra works in parallel with sexual stimulation. Viagra may be prescribed for other purposes that are not listed over here, and Viagra does not protect you from any sexually transmitted diseases (HIV and so on).

How Taken

Take 1 tablet of Viagra in about 1 hour prior to sexual action. The recommended dosage is 1 tablet per day; ask your doctor for more dosage. It is normal to take Viagra 30 minutes or 4 hours before sexual activity.

Viagra should not be taken by women.

Possible Side Effects

In most cases Viagra does not cause side effect. The possible side effects are: upset stomach, face flushing, headache, vision changes (blurred vision or color difference) and the erection that lasts a long time. You should seek immediate health care if you experience an erection that lasts more than 4 hours; it may lead to penis damaging. Men that used to have heart problems - after taking Viagra it is very possible to have stroke, heart attack, irregular heartbeats and unsafe blood pressure changes.
